AMHERST, N.Y. – Why Not Marketing, a local marketing communications firm, recently developed and launched a new website for Northtowns Orthopedic Group. The Group, which is headquartered in East Amherst, serves the Western New York area with nine locations from Ellicottville to Tonawanda. The group has a team of 11 board certified or board eligible physicians, eight physician assistants, and one nurse practitioner.

The goal of Northtowns’ new website was to create a space where Northtowns’ patients and the general public could read and learn about orthopedic medicine, as well as acquaint themselves with the Northtowns’ practice and what its high caliper doctors are capable of offering. The site, located at www.northtownsorthopedics.com, provides biographies of each doctor and their specialties; a descriptive list of services; office locations and contact information; a ‘pre-visit’ page with downloadable forms; firm and community news; and a patient education section with a library of informative ‘what to expect’ videos and articles.

“The Northtowns Orthopedic Group wanted their website to be a resource for current and potential clients. We created its website and associated social media presence to support that goal,” said Marc Adler, owner of Why Not Marketing. “Anyone can visit the site and learn about bone and joint afflictions from arthroscopy to sports medicine to joint replacement, and educate themselves on what to expect if they have an orthopedic injury, as well as learn about the doctors that can help them.”

In addition to planning, designing, coding, and optimization (SEO) of the Northtowns’ website, the agency will continue to be responsible for ongoing website maintenance. The agency is also responsible for all major marketing efforts for Northtowns including ongoing consultation, creative work, and social media support for the Group’s associated Facebook page, which offers informative articles and Northtowns’ news.
