Marc Adler, currently Vice President – Metrics and Communications of the University at Buffalo’s School of Management Alumni Association (SOMAA) and serving on its Executive Committee, has been honored by the School of Management for his service to the school.
Adler is one of the most engaged alumni across the entire university—a passionate ambassador in “UB blue” and a tireless supporter of the school and UB Bulls athletics.
A past president of both the UB and School of Management alumni associations, Adler has been a presenter for student clubs and the Smart Business Practices series, and coached students in the Panasci Technology Entrepreneurship Competition and LeaderCORE™. He also has helped students develop professionally through Career Conversations and MBA Advantage, and by serving as a reactor and mentor for UB’s Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (CEL)—and that’s just the past few years. He also uses his vast professional network to connect many students to employment opportunities.
Adler holds three UB degrees—a bachelor’s and master’s in geography and an MBA—and completed the CEL’s Core program. As an adjunct instructor, he has taught entrepreneurship and marketing for undergraduate and Professional MBA students, and has been honored with the Milton Plesur Excellence in Teaching Award from UB’s Undergraduate Student Association.
